In this blog post, I am going to guide you on a tour to Skardu Baltistan. Skardu is in the northernmost region of Pakistan where the beauty knows no bounds. The Baltistan has a rich and diverse culture. When we talk about traditional music, Baltistan music and dance are integral to the Culture. The people of the Baltistan region often use musical instruments like Daman (like a Drum) and a Surna (a type of Flute) during cultural shows and gatherings.

Entry Requirements:
You must ensure your Passport and Visa requirements before traveling to Pakistan and you need to keep about 20 photocopies of your visa with you.
Best Time to Visit:
The best time to travel to Skardu is during the Summer seasons (May to September) because the routes are accessible in Summer.

Travel Arrangements:
Fly into Islamabad or you can take a direct flight from Dubai to Skardu. Mostly the flight from Dubai to Skardu is available once a month. Check the weather forecast first then you can take a domestic flight to Skardu which takes 50 minutes from Islamabad Airport which is more convenient.
Accommodations:
Accommodation facilities are available in high-class hotels and resorts in Skardu. Book your accommodation first during the tourist season. I would recommend you Shangri-La Hotel for its peaceful environment and excellent hospitality.
Trekking and Adventure:
If you are into trekking or Mountain climbing Skardu is a great adventure activity hub. Popular treks include the K2 base camp, Basho Valley, Deosai National Park, and Mantoka Waterfall. If you are traveling to Skardu in any month of October to March, it is important to take care of warm clothing and altitude essentials. Because during this month it is quite cold and the temperature goes to minus.
